I shd.. cuz this is the only time that I will ever get to blog, cuz most websites have now been blocked at my work place.

It's so... stupid. I cannot even fathom about the genesis of this stupid sucky idea. And yes, I work in a Fortune 500 company. Go figure...

Back from the cool highlands

yes... realised that I didn't manage to key in entries to do a proper countdown. cuz I stopped at 6 days.

Well, I am back. And it's been a cool (literally) and refreshing trip. I think it's just a very good break away from work. It really doesn't matter what was being done, the fact is that I was away from work for a few days. Now, you can say that it was just a weekend trip + a monday. But the truth is, I work weekends (from home), so you could say my break is not quite complete.

But this trip, I didn't even bring along a single piece of work. Even if I thought about work, it wasn't so bad.

Shit.. I have something to rush, cuz there's an impt review tmr, and I have yet to complete it! Shoot shoot shoot.. have to stop blogging and start working on it. Cuz I can sense that I am getting v sleepy...

How many days more??

Ohh.. HairSpray is funny, watched Transformers for the 3rd Time. I now prounce you Chuck and Larry is quite hilarious..very cliche, but still funny.

Let's see... Beowulf and Grendel is also interesting, but really, it's not 300. :( King Leonadis... wherefore art thou, King Leonadis...

Can't wait for 1) StarDust and 2) The Golden Compass... although, it does seem like Star Dust shows a bit more potential...

I think my mom may be right.. the cough that I always get?? The one that never goes away? She just came up with this theory that it may be tied to my sinus! Cuz of sinus, I always have plegm. and cuz of phelgm that trickles down, it irritates my throat. Therefore, I have a cough that never goes away!

Anyone knows of things like these and can verify if it's true?

didn't get any work done this weekend

Maybe it was the fact that this has been a really short week, and most people were away on holiday on Friday anyway...

I didn't touch my work AT ALL this weekend. All I did was look through my emails, this afternoon, did some MINOR forwarding and replying, and just now, when I suddenly recalled something fairly urgent that I had forgotten to work on, to quickly send out the emails... I haven't touched my work.

Heck, my portable hard disk didn't even make it's way out of the depths of my working bag. :P Morbid self: This can't be good, it means there will be a backlash this upcoming week.
Optimistic self: This is really good, you took the chance and had a really good break.

Other than that.. watch Bourne Ultimatum... it's good. Call me Bourne, Jason Bourne. haha...

it feels like a saturday...

Thursday that feels like a Saturday. If only tmr's a Sunday. Anyway.. I cancelled my leave, cuz there's too much work and it would be better to get it cleared.

Went to Beck's home.. and visited her family, her and of course, her baby! :) V cute, and minmin also v cute. Her house is like a playground.. A LOT OF TOYS. these two kids are really lucky. hurhur...

then we went walking around north point, me bought a phone for my mommy... and.. I think I spent too much money. haha.. bought a black jacket from Dorothy Perkins... didn't notice the price tag till I was paying. WAH! $103!!! But too late. >.< I just paid for it loh... and best thing is, I needed a black jacket cuz, I left my jacket in the badminton hall.. then went home after that. Needless to say, when I went back, it's gone. Pfftt... my lousy OLD black jacket also want to take. Cannot Make It.

Tmr gotta work.. deep breaths. haha.. *breath in, breath out* wahaha.. it's a FRIDAY! :)

Feeling lost?

Feeling lost... I don't know why. Don't know what I am doing. *oops, another midlife crisis*
Feel like I no longer have a life.. and feel like I have v little friends. It's like.. my life revolves around work. It even seems like I only have that few friends that I still meet up with, and the rest are gone from my life.

Oh hey! Do you think this is the reason why a lot of people start getting lonely and start looking for their significant other half? Hmm... you know what? It's v possible >.<

Well, I am trying v hard to "have a life" hahaha.. I play badminton, I try to go out with friends once a week. yah, from 2/3 times a week previously, recently, it's been down to one, and even then, quite exhausting..

I watch wayyy too many movies for my good health, methinks I can feel my buttocks getting bigger from all this sitting I am doing.

Oh, but I am preparing for a Genting trip with some guy pals... who wants to join? it will be from the 25-27 (Sat - Mon) August. :) I am looking for a female friend to go with. Either that or I would be going as the only female, which I don't quite mind, cuz it also means, I get the room to myself. Pay more lah.. but, it's not too bad an option too. If there's anyone interested, just lemme know.

Going off on a work trip to Toronto in 3rd week of September. Had meant to visit Klawd, but I think v difficult, cuz it's a very packed itinerary, and and and... my company highly discourages us from extending work trips for personal reasons. So.. sorry Klawd.

I will see if I can arrange for other work trips. but even so, it will probably be in LAX, and not SFO/YVR, so it's not near Klawd.

Genting... going Genting to take a break would be good for me... :D GENTING, HERE I COME! Oh cool air... oh work free envt... oh fun, laughter, peace and joy! hurhurhur...

woah woah woah

continuous blogs and you know.. it's the weekend!

You know.. this weekend has been utterly boring and very restful... all I did was go out to watch Transformers (yes, for the 2nd time)... and that was it.. nothing else... Been at home the rest of the time and I didn't even go out on Friday. I, ladies and gentlemen, have NO LIFE. >.<

Sad, but true. So what to do now? Well, for one, EPL is starting again :) There's something to look forward to on weekends again. :D

Been having badminton matches, I dun play all of them, but I did play in one match.. and shit man... we have been thrashed every single match. and being the competitive person that I am, I HATE THAT! Really, I do... but bopian, it is the difference between people who train and play badminton, and people who play for fun.

I am too out of shape to be of use, plus, I am a female. The team set up is such that they only require one female, as it only requires one mixed doubles. And we all know that while the female is important, the more important of the two, is the male. I don't like playing mixed doubles, cuz the role of the female is more limited, since I am pretty much stuck to the front. Whereas if it's female doubles, it's a lot more fun, since both players will play an equal role.

I miss female doubles. Even now, when I am playing on Tuesdays with my normal gang, it's mixed doubles. Don't have 4 good female players... so can't play a game. It's quite sad.

Migration Update

I have migrated up to March 2005. So that is... another 2 years..omigod.. hahaha.. but the thing is, at least I continued with it. Deadline = end 2007. that's 4 more months, before all the data on blogcity is deleted.

Migrating and re-reading blog is fairly therepeutic, I read about how enthusiastic I was about my job 2 years back, how I would wake up early to rush my job.

Sleepy... mebbe it's time for an afternoon nap, my 2nd nap for today. wahaha...
