I did try to install mobile blogging, so that I can blog on the go.. and yes, my recent craze is loading stuff into my mobile, so that everything is "on-the-go"... my pc in my pocket hehe.

but hor.. m1 and for that matter, I think our telcos does not support this gmail blogging feature.. get some funny error msg.. so no hope there... well.. mebbe in the near future they will reach an agreement.

Filed for taxes.. darn.. once again, I forgot to save up for taxes.. *pray*, i hope it's not too much.. I submitted and didn't save the file properly, so I cannot even remember how much I file.. our tax is like how many percent huh?

oh.. and on another note.. unearthed some uni day photos.. darn! I was so much slimmer than... think I look like a fatass now. >.<>

Another want...

the recent thing? I want to get the Bodyguardz film for my Omnia... but it's not sold in Singapore.. it's US$24.99, and even if I do the really roundabout way of using vpost, it still costs about S$13 for shipping. So, that means I would spend about S$50 to buy my screen protector.
Heart pain ah!!

Now, I am asking a friend.. but I am wondering how much it can save me.. see.. without anything, the protector would cost S$37... thereabouts. But the thing is, there are two inside. so it's only about $19. the Gmask that I had done in Singapore already costs about $30, and I dun like the feel ... so...

Nvm.. mebbe my friend will be able to "snailmail" it to me, if she helps me order, and I can then spend about S$40 or something? That I can take, especially since it's for two... :)

Can't wait for her to reply.. think she shd be getting up in another 2/3 hours. :)

No cartoon/anime to watch of late.. boring... I did watch ip man... love the fighting sequence.. and i was looking at the list of movie in my ipod.. and realised.. almost all are action for movies. whereas tv series are lame romance drama/comedy that I like.. hmm... why the difference I wonder...

Today, I gave up on contact lens.. went and traded it in for a pair of specs.. since it's not like they will refund me the money.. and so... I have a new pair of specs.. which I will be collecting this coming Monday. Hmm... plastic frames.. interesting right?

I must wake up at 6tmr to go jogging... me and my big mouth.. I already feel like backing out.. >.<

Consistency

Am consistently posting blogs again.. *I am such a good girl*... hmm.. methinks I am over the facebook thingee.. hardly ever log on ... surprisingly, I have been thinking about what I can write in my blog though.. .

today, I didn't have any thoughts... hmm... so, effectively, there's nothing I really want to blog about...

Well... really, nothing. Sad huh... well, I guess, the fact that I placed an entry up counts for something right?

On the other hand, what fun is there to read a blog entry that doesn't say anything? Well, we did throw a surprise party for my brother's bday... quite a lot of planning, and work was mostly done by my eldest sis, followed by my sis-in-law (his wife), and then me.. and my mom, who helped with some cooking... and of course, my cousin who baked the LOVELY cake...

hmm... well, I am making this valiant attempt to wake up thurs morning (630am oki!!!) to join my friend for a jog at TPY stadium.. hahaha... VALIANT... I love my sleep v much.. I wonder if it's possible for me to wake up to go jogging.. I can't even wake up to eat breakfast, which is an infinitely more pleasurable activity.. haha.. I think.. damn tough ah... *no no no! I have to remain positive*, I will do my v best to wake up... I must I must!!!

Watchmen

Watchmen.. don't watch... mostly becuz the entire plot is rather whimsy, despite the fact that this is a super long film. In addition, half the time, the plot didn't even seem to be progressing as there were multiple indulgent "mtv-like storytelling moments" accompanied by inappropriate music. I found myself wanting the plot to continue, and half the time I was trying to figure out the plot. Suspect the graphic-novel would make a better read.

Unfortunately, the most exciting part of the movie was when two-thirds through the movie, I needed to pee... however, the pace of the movie was such that I never did know if we were about to reach the final battle... or something.. well, in the end, there wasn't much of a final battle.. and I shd have just disturbed the patrons sitted next to me.. and just went to the ladies... I reckon the fact that I was in physical discomfort kept me up through the movie. Haha..

And.. I think my previous job has spoilt me.. if the movie isn't good, I have the urge to just stand up and walk away.. cuz previously, I had so many movies to watch that I wouldn't waste my time on not-so-good movies. So the funny thing is.. this habit has followed me ... so I am extremely impatient with bad movies.

but it was nice going to a nearby spot for a movie... went to bishan with synco.. where we had mos burger for dinner.. .. haven't been there for ages.. and it's only two stops away from home.. ahh.. it's a good place.

that... and I have to thank dear Synco who so kindly bought cakes to celebrate my b-day... although I don't take durian*.. hehe... sorry about this babes... BUT.. I am still extremely touched by your effort!!! Thank you very much.

Having said that.. I did watch Red Cliff II.. DVD is out people.. anyway... it was GREAT! My only regret was that everyone I knew had watched the movie, so I didn't watch it at the cinema.. I love the battle scenes and I love the strategies.. and the filming.. I didn't even dislike Lin Chiling... hahaha.. cuz though she can't quite act... she is believable as that ethereal beauty... I love Zhou Yu (have the Dynasty Warrior version image as my wallpaper now), and of course, Zhuge Liang.. my love for Takeshi is an ongoing one... I wish I was that smart...

Going to put the movie into my ipod.. so that I can re-watch... :)

Oh.. and I bought this pocket encyclopedia.. on World History. Absolutely intriguing.. been reading through it.. and while reading, searching through the net for additional info for interesting nuggets... like... Sparta (think 300), china's era of the warring states (think romance of the three kingdom, which is over-romanticized), rome, greece... and the chronological timeline of how the different parts of the world was evolving at the same time... riveting stuff!! All that for only $9.90... the best things in life are free.. or in this case, really cheap. Hehehe...

*Disclaimer: FYI, I only take the fruit durian.. for some reason... i don't take any byproducts, so no durian cake/sweets/puff/etc....

Lacking in Originality

I was scrolling downwards and I realised... I have two Blog Posts, both titled - Recently.
*bah*.. totally lacking in creativity and originality... *bah*

Recently...

i have been busy with work.. but not like i am going to die type of busy... (i like to think that my threshold is quite high, but i know it's not haha)... so manageable.. All I hope is that, I am able to make a positive difference to my area of influence...

So... I would love to complain about this particular irritation in my life now, but I shan't. Most of all, becuz I know I am being really childish about it, but as of now, I dun care as I am pissed. But I have sufficient sanity left to know that I will prob regret ranting online sometime later, so I am not going to do it. (This ladies and gentlemen, is called wisdom)

So, I am extremely jealous of Bijou, cuz she had a recent trip to Korea, and am extremely jealous of YD, who will be visiting china tmr morning.. you two... *sputter sputter*.. I also want to travel!!!

And.. having visited the NATAS fair yesterday, I realised... that going on a trip is a bloody expensive business! Maybe I am a scrooge... mebbe i have been spoilt by my prev company, who helped with providing an air ticket... so now, was thinking of visiting a friend up in sweden in the later half of the year, the air tkt (via SQ) on a discounted rate, is S$1200... my entire imagined budget had been about 2k? was I being too idealistic I wonder.. I prob am.. how to save up? I mean can save up lah.. but heartbreaking to spend this sorta money...

to think i wanted to buy a new monitor (as my current monitor was meant to be a tv, so the reso, colour and possibly refresh rate is not good for me eyes).. that's only 200.. i am not that bad a spendthrift right? 200... mebbe after the 15th of March.. when my pay is in... and a good sound card.. can't decide if it's my speakers that are like shit, or my sound card is like shit.. frankly, I can buy now lah.. but i am limiting big ticket purchases to once a month.. so I dun get caught out hehe... wait till the money is in the bank.. dun spend before or after.. v dangerous in today's climate... sage advice to all. And please for goodness sake! Dun roll your credit cards or credit lines! That's the path down to hell!!! Clear everything off ASAP!!!
