Annual Jap Test Awards

Three words to describe my status with regards to my jap test earlier this evening...

FAIL WITH HONOUR

That's right... this has been my philosophy since secondary school. I refuse to cheat, and I refuse to mug... it is with great resolution and determination that I have opted down the road of honour... to fail with honour.

Snickering are you? Well let me tell you, this is a path that few dare tread on... in today's society ... (another long story on singapore's education system, which I shall not harp on.. you know one lah)

This past week, I have been wondering... what're the options available to me now that my jap test is coming...

1) Mug like mad... esp since I've not done any studying at all
2) Cheat. Easy to get my school's past year paper

I almost took the route down Option 2... it was such a simple and brillant solution. I asked around...

Friend A: Lost her past year paper
Acquaintance B: Refuse to ask him or to ask Friend A to ask Acq B. (Long story.. will blog on that if I've nothing to say)

So... I thought to myself... should I try for Option 1 instead... then conclusion... the only difference to mugging would be:

a) Fail, badly.
b) Fail, not so badly.

Then as I was worrying myself to death (yes I am a worry wort and proud to be one)...

I realised... I have Option 3!! Yes, my friends...

3) Fail with Honour

And... *drum roll*... results will be out tmr. Tune in for more on this week's programme "To Fail with Honour"

I am grouser.. glad to be with you this evening...
