BA WANG CAN!!!

wahaha.. I had a super "ba4 wang 2 can1" yesterday. My friend was invited to dinner and she was asked to bring along a friend. Along came Lee Wei.

Went to the first 7th month dinner in my life, and v possibly the last. Haha.. compliments of Ms. Ch... my buddy from hall. Haha.. It came complete with "ge tai" and auction. and lucky draw. haha.. read it and weep. my 8 course ba wang can.

1) Cold dish (norm lah, this one)
2) Shark's Fine Soup (err... had a lot of crab meat.. but not v sure where the fins were, not that I mind, since I feel that we're doing the shark's an injustice...)
3) Roasted Suckling Pig (this is like only the 2nd/3rd time I've eaten this. Sinfully delicious)
4) Scallop with broccoli and cabbage. ( I quite like. But they used those dried scallops.. so a bit salty. but still nice)
5) Steamed promfet (by far the worst dish, cuz fish not fresh..,)
6) Steamed prawns (better ... than the fish.)
7) Kung Ba Bao (you know what I mean right? those mantou with stewed pork. Niceee...)
8) Yam paste (also commonly referred to as Ou ni. (deeeeliciousss.... not too sweet, not too sticky... really nice... )

haha.. and there ends my ba wang can. ahahahha.. and I ONLY know my friend there... first time I really feel like a gate crasher. but too bad, we sat too far from the getai.. so.. didn't get to see them.. but I got to hear them.. and get a headache in the process.

And these pple are nuts! You know how much they pay for lanterns?! those NORMAL RED LANTERNS? $5888?!!!! And I am sure the auction saw higher prices! Wah kaoz! I can go on my dream trip to Japan, and stay in GOOD hotels with that amount of money.. sheesh... I wanted to put my red sling bag up for auction too, Red = auspicious geddit?... didn't expect a lot, $1888 can liao. But my friend stopped me.

Anyway, as retribution for my free meal, where I ate till I was bloated... I had a nightmare last night.

I was actually... errr.. making muffled screams in fear.. my brother woke me up.. was so glad he woke me up.. I really didn't want to continue the dream. It was sooo scary... and I know that it's my over active imagination at work.

Trust me... my dreams have this movie like slant to it... I attribute it all to my over-active imagination. I can actually sense myself making it more scary to add spice to it. Doesn't help that in my dreamlike consciousness, I am unable to draw the line betwen reality and fantasy. (yes, I get v involved in my dreams. not 3rd party, but 1st party).

Damn scary. I would repeat it.. except my dreams are linked. Yes... it continues from some ancient dream eons ago and continues. and it adds in snippets from other dreams that I have had. making it more real than imaginable. So too complicated to retell the story.

Enough crap. Back to reality again. have work to rush. Will blog.. when I

2) Realise its a hopeless cause and decide to take a break.
