Synopsis:
George, host of a television show focusing on literature, receives videos shot on the sly that feature his family, along with disturbing drawings that are difficult to interpret. He has no idea who has made and sent him the videos. Progressively, the contents of the videos become more personal, indicating that the sender has known George for a long time. George feels that he and his family are being threatened, but because the threat is not explicitly stated, the police refuse to get involved. Clues gradually begin to accumulate indicating that the videos come from a person upon whom George clearly inflicted a terrible injustice during his childhood. What happened back then? Just what does the person behind the videos want? As George confronts his own past, his tidy, cosy life comes into question.

Review:
Well, my rating was rather low. I think it's because, it is truly an "art" film... it takes on different film techniques, and the whole movie was meant to be more thought provoking, and less entertaining. Interesting to watch, but difficult to analyse in the end.
I sense the political undertones, which was probably played out from the various tv scenes, which unfortunately, wasn't translated. I can assume some of the topics (based on images), but it would have been more helpful for me if it were translated. French - Algerian politics
Throughout the show, my thought was, Hey.. Zidane was also Algerian... hahaha.. and look, he lifted the world cup for them. *sidenote of course*
OK, so, if I hadn't watched this in a movie theatre, I may have switched the channels or walked away. Since I was obliged to seat through it, it was medicore at best (for me)... many other better movies out there. :)
