Synopsis:
When hard-working TV producer Becky Fuller (McAdams) is fired from a local news program, her career begins to look as bleak as her hapless love life. Stumbling into a job at "Daybreak" (the last-place national morning news show), Becky decides to revitalize the show by bringing on legendary TV anchor Mike Pomeroy (Ford). Unfortunately, Pomeroy refuses to cover morning show staples like celebrity gossip, weather, fashion and crafts - let alone work with his new co-host, Colleen Peck (Keaton), a former beauty queen and longtime morning show personality who is more than happy covering morning "news."

As Mike and Colleen clash, first behind the scenes and then on the air, Becky's blossoming love affair with fellow producer, Adam Bennett (Wilson) begins to unravel - and soon Becky is struggling to save her relationship, her reputation, herjob and ultimately, the show itself.

Review:
Fairly entertaining show, that would make a great "stay home" movie, light hearted, witty banter and quite fun to watch, with just the right amount of romance...

3.5 stars cuz, there was the propensity for it to be a great show.. you know, the "Devil wears Prada" type of great... and the cast is huge (as most would agree) as most of you would agree...

Still, like I said, it's quite funny, and very relaxing to watch, and I would recommend this movie to those who just want a relaxing movie to watch after work to destress, to watch on weekends to while away time, and to rent if you just want to cozy up at home... you know... I would really give it a 3.9 rating.. it's like a nearly 4 star show...

As a sidenote, Amy McAdams.. is damn skinny and I have always wondered... in a job where you are running around a lot, and you work super long hours, how do you wear stilettos and still be able to run around? I wonder... conclusion... if you are skinny enough, there is less weight on the feet, so it doesn't swell as much, therefore, you can wear it day in day out for long hours. Skinny people... is this true?
