Movie Review: Kung Fu Panda 2

Synopsis:
In KUNG FU PANDA 2, Po is now living his dream as The Dragon Warrior, protecting the Valley of Peace alongside his friends and fellow kung fu masters, The Furious Five. But Po's new life of awesomeness is threatened by the emergence of a formidable villain, who plans to use a secret, unstoppable weapon to conquer China and destroy kung fu. He must look to his past and uncover the secrets of his mysterious origins; only then will Po be able to unlock the strength he needs to succeed.

Review:
Hmm... well, it's a fun movie to watch, nothing really dramatically good, the first obviously (as is the case with most of such movies) was better. So if I were to give the first movie a 4 star rating, then the second movie would get a 3.5 star rating. Good, but not great.

It does fulfil Walt Disney's standards of being kids-friendly. I was more amused by the kids who were laughing out loud very excitedly then I was about the funny scenes in the movie. Of course, I smirked at some parts, but those were generally the parts that the kids didn't get. *smirk again*

Had friends who told me to bring along tissue, cuz there were tear-worthy moments. Hmm... I am still wondering which moments that was. From start till end, I was guffawing through it, so not too sure were the sad parts were, if there were any, it was really short, and nothing that would get me emotional.
