Synopsis:
"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2," is the final adventure in the Harry Potter film series. The much-anticipated motion picture event is the second of two full-length parts. In the epic finale, the battle between the good and evil forces of the wizarding world escalates into an all-out war. The stakes have never been higher and no one is safe. But it is Harry Potter who may be called upon to make the ultimate sacrifice as he draws closer to the climactic showdown with Lord Voldemort.

It all ends here.

Review:
And so it is, we finally get closure... and what do you know, the best was saved for the last and in a 8 movie sequel, I finally get the 1/2 movie that I think is good.

There was action (check), emotion (check), improved acting (check) and a clear plot (check). It had to be the last one, so there really isn't much to look forward to... having said that, I wonder how many people are harbouring thoughts like mine, which is to buy and rent the entire monstrosity and attempt to watch 1-8, over a couple of days of course... just to get a sense of the entire plot and see how the characters grow up. It is sort of like watching Britney Spears or the Olsen twins... you literally see them grow up (and ruin their lives o.O)

The final piece of the puzzle I am sure, is as much a revelation for some (those who didn't read the books, but the watch the movie) and a 'oh yah' reminder (for people like me who read the book a long time ago and can't quite remember the plot after all this time). I always thought it was a well-thought out series, where the story was built up from book 1, and not a sudden, "Oh, it seems like the series is making money, so instead of making it a three-part book, I shall extend a subplot and make it a seven-book series".

So, go watch, I rather think you would enjoy it. But you do need to have read the books, or have some vague recollection of the previous movies before you watch it. Or you will end up being like the audience who sat next to MLSA and was asking her boyfriend questions throughout the whole show. MLSA was also treated to the explanation that the boyfriend gave. Both apparently have rather loud voices. Haha... poor thing.

Hmm.. I may borrow. Rental means limited timeline and you don't want to do that when it's a monster 8-part movie marathon and I don't quite like the movie enough to spend $ buying all 8. I already have the 7 books (if and when I can find them), so that is a sufficient show of support.

So... does anyone already have a ready collection somewhere that I can borrow please? :)
