Review:
Sorely disappointed by the show... Hmm... it was a plot that plodded along, and... it didn't mean anything to me... I always have super high hopes for Jackie Chan's show... and the comic fight sequence... and the general light-heartedness of his programs.
In this case, not only did it deviate from the norm, it was also pretty boring in that even if we discount the weirdness of getting Lee Hom, the funny Korean Guy and the Jackie Chan that we know... it is still a boring film. Wouldn't have mattered who helmed it... it was a boring plot, bits and pieces stitched together... meaningless... and the bigger theme was so much a "bang over your head with a pot" that... actually, it wasn't much of a theme, since the nuances of it was not brought up.. it was just... too much of a - there, I have covered it... so now we have attempted to make a movie with a big enough theme to make it a 大制作 ... sad.
