Synopsis:
Air, Water, Earth, Fire. Four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction. Caught between combat and courage, Aang (Noah Ringer) discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara (Nicola Peltz), a Waterbender, and her brother, Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), to restore balance to their war-torn world. Based on the hugely successful Nickelodeon animated TV series, the live-action feature film The Last Airbender is the opening chapter in Aangs struggle to survive.
Review:
It sucks... it stinks so bad... I even considered going into negative star rating. Hahaha... BUT... cuz it was such a bad movie... it made me laugh, and therefore, I gave it a one. The whole plot, the script (OMG the scriptwriter... M. Night Shyamalan... ought to be shot), the acting... the everything (except maybe the cinematography).
And seriously, I don't mean to be racist.. but having indians talk about "chi"... a young boy who can't act... oh wait.. THEY ALL CAN'T ACT! and the freaking shitty script just sinks them into new depths.. hahahhahaa.... HAHAHAHHAHA... I pity the actors/actresses... their acting life just got bombed by the "night" man, who looked like he had just decided to import the cast from "Slumdog Millionaire" sigh... seriously.. in the movie.. there were british accents (like where did that come from?), american, cantonese accented ones... and there were gaps in the plot so big, you can put in the black hole into it. I cannot even begin to tell you, the "huh, why liddat?" moments I had in the show...
I have decided. I will never ever ever watch any more movies by M. Night Shyamalan... NEVER.
