Synopsis:
Acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan directs an international cast in an original scifi actioner that travels around the globe and into the intimate and infinite world of dreams. Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobbs rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved.

Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming.

Reviews:
You know, I am sure the critics are all raving, it has 9.3 stars rating at IMDB, it has 86% on the rotten tomatoes website... you know... it's a really good movie. YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT.
So besides that.. a little advice...
  1. The movie is long, so avoid caffeine (it's diuretic) before the movie, make sure you have been to the toilet before. The movie has multiple twists and turns. If you were to head out and back, you will be lost. You have been warn. Remember... no toilet breaks.
  2. Get good seats, there is a lot of action and sitting at the first 2 rows just doesn't allow you to focus on all that is happening on the screen and it would be a real shame.
  3. Watch and listen carefully... and take note of as many details as you can, that would help you understand the movie... Frankly, I feel like giving the movie another go, just so I can watch again and remove some doubts I had.

Nothing much other than this. It's a good movie and warrants the cinematic effect. Watching at home wouldn't blow you away as compared to watching it in a cinema. It is one of those, intense and fast paced movie and wouldn't do too well in a living room setting, well, unless you dim the lights and ensure that there's minimal distraction while the movie runs. (Tough in a big family like mine)

I think the acting by everyone just blows me away... especially the moment in the plane, when everyone wakes up (assuming they really did wake up), and there was this disjointed feeling when you emerge out from a particularly real dream. It is done so well, and the acting was just so good, that I too had the same feeling and I could totally identify with it, as the feeling you get is the same when you wake up from a dream that was particularly real and you heave this sigh of relief that you are back in the "real" world. And you sorta have to sit up, take stock of your surroundings and just allow the sense of reality to sink back in. Some dreams are just so real... and that is the beauty of this movie.
